FACE THE DAY
Everyone has a signature, a style, and a look of their own.
Face The Day is a photography-based project that sets out to capture the uniqueness of the human experience seen in faces across America. Within every portrait, there is a story. And as a collection, these photographs inspire one another as we revel in our differences and celebrate our connection as a family of man, woman, and child.
This endeavor can be viewed literally as how each of us enters our day or more broadly as how we live our lives. In other words, who are we to the world, to our friends, and to complete strangers.
This first leg of the journey promises to create a book at the end of this year, FACE THE DAY 2010, that encompasses all of us and more importantly, joins us as our unique family.
Brett Froomer photographs people and captures their beauty in a way that inspires others. He has made a name for himself as an advertising photographer as well as a commercial director. His work most recently can be seen on air with the likes of Kodak, Wal-Mart, Taco Bell and Verizon commercials.
Face The Day is a personal project for Brett who wants to meet you, photograph you, and give you a photograph of yourself. At the close of this year, a book will be published using these images that highlights his portraits from across the country.
We'll kickoff this project with our first shooting session in New York City on April 17, 2010. Please come by for your free portrait and be a page in the Face The Day 2010 book.
